Chart notes
MINDYOURPSANDQS stalked two deep then challenged at the seven sixteenths pole and contested at a close disadvantage from that point, dug in under determined handling leaving the far turn and took the nod in the final strides. CEDAR RUNS CASTLE rated a slim lead inside, was met at the seven sixteenths pole and dueled with the edge from that point, dug in gamely leaving the far turn but grudgingly yielded the nod through the final strides. FOURDIAMONDSPLEASE stalked the early pace three wide, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and ran evenly down the lane. A FAREWELL YODEL was bumped at the break, rounded the first turn about the five path and entered the backstretch outside, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, ran off the rail on the far turn and showed little further. NORMANDY'S EMPIRE saved ground on the first turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole but flattened at the rail on the far turn. NOBLE EL SID came away a bit rank and inward and made contact with WEAVE IT QUIXOTE, saved ground on the opening turn and showed little response through the backstretch, while the latter, was bumped inward and into A Farewell Yodel leaving the gate, rounded the first turn about the five path then challenged three wide toward the seven sixteenths pole, but dropped back at the three eighths and faded in the five path of the far turn.
