Chart notes
SIMPLY VALID set a pressured pace along the inner rail, opened up in mid stretch and was kept under urging. AUCTION KINGDOM bore out leaving the starting gate, was a forward factor in the two path on the turn and rallied. RIDICULOUS saved ground on the turn, remained near the rail in the stretch, advanced to the sixteenth pole then flattened out. MUGSY MALONE , three deep on the turn, swung to the five path turning for home and was no menace. FIVE STAR PHIL prompted the pace outside the winner to upper stretch then gave way. AXXERATOR drifted out on the backstretch then drifted out badly on the turn.
