Chart notes
IYWAAN stalked the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn to draw clear by the quarter pole, then drew off under strong handling to the sixteenth pole and then was wrapped up late while well clear. ALEJANDRO'S TEAM chased the early pace three wide, then was on the inside on the far turn, made a mild inside bid leaving the turn but proved to be no match for the winner while clearly second best. PAL CAL was well placed early on the inside, then shifted to the outside and was four wide by the quarter pole, came five wide into the lane and had no rally, bested rest. BUILT THAT WAY was four wide into the first turn, then settled four to five wide and came six wide into the lane and had no rally. MASS APPEAL was away alertly to set the pace towards the inside and stopped leaving the quarter pole.
