Chart notes
BEDROCK was away in good order to duel for the lead with SWAMP SOUFFLE while racing four-wide, vied with that rival into deep stretch and edged away late. SMARTY RIVER PANTS pressed the pace while racing five-wide, could not gain on the winner in the drive but finished well to gain the place. PASSED BY PAUL chased the leaders while racing six-wide, stayed on well in the drive and finished willingly. SWAMP SOUFFLE broke sharply to dispute the pace with the winner while racing three-wide, angled in nearing the three-sixteenths pole and gave way late. DUNE D'ORO settled off the leaders early, raced off the rail through the turn and failed to rally. SOMETHING SUPER was void of early speed, raced three-wide through the turn and was not a factor. CAIRO KING lagged, raced four-wide through the turn and did not reach contention. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
