Chart notes
PAYITO pressured the pace, contested even terms two deep on the turn and dug in under determined stretch handling to earn the nod. BOTTOM DECK set a pressured pace inside, was met at even terms at the rail nearing the middle of the turn, dug in gamely through the stretch but missed the nod. GORUN chased, rounded the turn about the three path, drifted leaving the turn then lugged in through the upper stretch and flattened the final sixteenth. HELLO AMIGO chased through the backstretch, eased outward toward the head of the lane, left the turn in the five path and finished well. ARE YOU HAPPY gave chase inside, rounded the turn near the rail and showed little in the lane. FROSTY THE BULL gave chase then flattened at the rail on the turn. ASK THE UMPIRE raced well back.
