Chart notes
DRYSPELL made the pace on a short lead early along the inside, drew off in the far turn and was under a steady hand ride the remainder. GERDY'S BOY saved ground, remained inside into the lane and rallied clear for the place. BOBBY BOOTS stalked the pace in good position three to four wide but lacked a final closing bid. ARCHARCH TALE saved ground and moved up through the lane while not a serious threat. CRIMSON TRACE tracked the winners pace two to three wide land weakened. DIRTY DEEDS lacked a rally three to four wide. SHATTERED DREAMS bumped with a rival at the start and was always back. HEAROSEONEASTER bumped with a rival at the start and was not a factor three to four wide. I C WELL tired four wide.
