Chart notes
BLUSHING BAY attended to the slow early fractions, was roused in upper stretch, reeled in FANTASTIC SECRET approaching the sixteenth marker and edged clear in the final stages. FANTASTIC SECRET was hustled leaving the break, set pedestrian fractions through the opening half, extended the lead on the second turn, came under pressure from the winner leaving the furlong grounds and could not hold BLUSHING BAY off in the end but was best of the rest. BRITE TAN was under a snug hold while just off of the early pace, saved ground along the far turn and finished evenly in the drive, while clear of the rest for third. FIRE DIAMONDS was unhurried early on, saved ground into the second turn and lacked a late rally. OYSTER SHOOTER settled off of the early pace, steered three wide on the second turn and was not a factor.
