EXCUSES EXCUSES dropped her rider behind the gate and ran loose in the post parade, took a quick lead after the break and rated the pace inside, came under pressure toward the seven sixteenths pole, held the advantage at the rail on the far turn and held on with steady stretch encouragement. BONNIE BLUETOOTH broke outward and made contact with Calling India then rounded the opening turn in the four path and rated close into the backstretch, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the three path of the far turn, took second in the upper stretch and was gaining on the winner. POWER SONDE was bumped lightly at the break then tapered in to stalk two deep, challenged approaching the seven sixteenths pole, raced close off the rail on the far turn then flattened the final furlong. LADY SPARROW raced off the pace inside, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and showed little more. MAGNIFICENT ROCKET settled back toward the inside, bid approaching the three eighths pole then drifted while tiring on the turn. CALLING INDIA was jostled at the break, rounded the opening turn about the five path and showed little response through the backstretch.
