LONGPANTS REQUIRED raced in the three path along the first turn, chased the pace early along the rail, was stuffed entering the far turn, stayed along the inside in the far turn, slipped through the inside near the five sixteenths pole, cleared the field in the upper stretch and pulled away in the hand during the late stages. MILLEFEUILLE raced in the four path along the first turn and trailed the field early on, made a four wide bid along the far turn while no match for the winner in the stretch run. PENTAGON raced in the four path along the first turn, tracked the early pace, briefly led near the five sixteenths pole, was in the three path into the lane and faltered late in the stretch drive. TRUMPET LILLY raced in the two path along the first turn, set the early pace, was in the two path into the lane and gave way late in the stretch.
