Chart notes
ON THE ENGINE saved ground around the turn in a striking position, found room along the rail to secure command in upper stretch then eagerly drew off while kept to his business. MOSLER SAFE , in the two path between horses on the turn, offered a mild rally. VANHOOFER bumped with DESERT LION at the start, circled the turn three deep while chasing the pace, floated to the four path turning for home and weakened. DESERT LION bumped with VANHOOFER leaving the starting gate, raced four deep on the turn, was fanned five wide turning for home and weakened. SECOND TERM showed speed near the inner rail, drifted to the two path approaching the stretch and gave way. STORIED FELLA trailed.
