Chart notes
CUNEO stalked the pace three wide, took over into the stretch, moved well clear and just lasted while tiring late. B B BAD dropped back at the start and trailed, weaved through traffic and closed with a rush too late. CATTY'S UNCLE moved to engage the leader inside on the turn then weakened. EGOT A POKER FACE steadied between foes near the half mile pole, raced wide and was no threat. MARATHONER outrun early, moved wide on the turn then flattened out. SOUTHERN RUNNER chased off the pace outside, faded on the turn and was no factor. ALWAYS DRINKING hustled to the front off the rail then gave way after half a mile. WILLY THE SHOE flashed speed inside then weakened steadily.
