Chart notes
IRIE ISLAND MAN broke in front, set all the pace, shook clear in upper stretch from the three to five path when struck with a left handed whip in deep stretch and lasted. GOTSOMEMOJO trailed into the stretch, closed willingly three wide, was shut off late causing his rider to check and altered course inside the winner then was steadily gaining ground. FRED'S COUNTRY BOY with the second flight two wide, advanced three wide on the far turn then was outfinished while four wide through the stretch. VAN DAMME with the second flight inside, went evenly. FATHER DENNIS allowed to settle, advanced four then five wide into the stretch then failed to sustain that bid. SWEET N SILVER pressed the pace two wide into the stretch then gave way. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF GOTSOMEMOJO LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF IRIE ISLAND MAN FOR INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH, AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED IRIE ISLAND MAN AND PLACED HIM SECOND.
