Chart notes
MAJESTIC SEAS veered out at the break then took over nearing the seven sixteenths pole and set a pressured pace, raced at the rail on the turn and was steadily handled through the lane. WILLIE THE WHALE gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path, dueled for second inside the eighth pole and finished well. GOLDEN G veered out leaving the gate then settled off the pace through the backstretch, started a bit nearing the quarter pole, came through the turn in the six path, left the turn widest and finished well. COUNT THE SHELLS gave chase inside, rounded the turn at the rail, eased outward entering the stretch then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. GAMING JACK was shuffled back at the start, gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn near the rail and ran evenly in the lane. EPIC WEST gave chase, rounded the turn about the five path and showed little in the lane. I'D LIKE TO KNOW pressured the pace through the backstretch but dropped back into the turn and weakened the final furlong. DISTANT THUNDER was forced outward at the break then gave chase, steadied between horses past the five sixteenths pole then faded on the turn.
