Chart notes
SLEW THE TURN stalked inside, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and raced at even terms from the five sixteenths pole, dueled for the nod two deep midway on the far turn and dug in under determined handling to inch clear later yards. ADMIRE settled off the pace about the three path the first turn, bid from the three eighths pole and raced close in the four path of the far turn, drifted a bit into the stretch but dug in to take second later yards. WONDER HOW took the lead leaving the three quarter pole then moved to the inside past the five eighths pole and rated the pace, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths, was met at the five sixteenths and dueled gamely close to mid-stretch before yielding. POPPY'S TWO STEP settled off the rail on the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail, was shut off and altered course mid-stretch, but came back to finish well. CASTLE BOUND raced off the pace in the two and three paths, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole then flattened in the three path of the far turn. SOUTHERN SAVIOUR rounded the opening turn about the three path then stalked into the backstretch, gave chase approaching the three eighths pole but flattened in the four path of the far turn. CARTER'S RUN rounded the first turn in the four and five paths, left the turn outside and showed little response.
