Chart notes
AND YET ANOTHER raced in the back of the pack, moved up on the outside around the turn, made a wide rally and drove clear before the wire. LUNDI sprinted to the front, pulled away and was caught for the win, deep in the stretch. SCHEMER lacked early speed, made a wide gain, proved no match for the top two, but got up for show. PARTY OF FIFTEEN raced in the middle of the field, made a mild bid and was outfinished for show. ST BASIL raced within striking distance, made a bid and hung late on the inside. CLEVER PRINCE lacked early speed, improved position, but was no factor. RIVER KING pressed the pace, raced outside around the turn and faded. VALIANT DEFENDER void of early speed and was never close. COACH DAN raced near the middle of the pack in the beginning and retreated. BIG BOSS MAN raced behind the leader in the early going and dropped to the rear.
