Chart notes
SCARLETT O'HARA shot to the front, drove clear, was collared around the turn, but shook loose, drove clear again and won under urging. D'WILD BARONESS pressed the pace, saved ground around the turn, proved no match for the winner, but was best of others. BIND ON EARTH was an early factor, raced outside around the turn, briefly took the lead and weakened down the lane. POINT OF VICTORY raced near the middle of the field, made a mild bid and was outfinished for third. A. K. A. GRAMS raced within contention and faded. DREAM TOWN void of early speed and was never close. BEYOND D'ORO always raced near the back and was outrun.
