Chart notes
MYSTIC NIGHT rated comfortably off of the pace in the two path, picked up stride in the four path around the far turn, ranged up turning for home to loom a danger outside of the leader in upper stretch, assumed command at the furlong grounds, inched away, and was wrapped up through the late stages. MISCHIEF AFOOT trailed around the first turn, launched a rally while shifting out to the five path and outside of MYSTIC NIGHT turning for home, followed that rival's rally through midstretch to bid for place outside of MAJOR FED approaching the final sixteenth, dueled with that foe through the closing stages, and prevailed. MAJOR FED tracked in midpack in the two path, got outmoved by the eventual winner turning for home while waiting behind traffic, shifted four wide with a few lengths to find in upper stretch, rallied inside of MISCHIEF AFOOT to bid for place with that foe entering the final sixteenth, battled with that rival to the wire, but got outfinished. WAR STOPPER stalked along the inside, pursued the clear leader under urging around the far turn, got outkicked by the eventual winner entering the lane, sustained his rail chase thereafter to attempt a bid for place approaching the final sixteenth, but was surpassed by a pair of outer rivals in the process. CONCERT TOUR set a clear pace while loping along in hand and a bit off of the inner railing, showed the way unencumbered around the far turn, met MYSTIC NIGHT's challenge in upper stretch, proved no match for that foe approaching the furlong grounds, and weakened between horses shortly after. FARMINGTON ROAD stalked outside of the leader while in the four to three paths around the turns, gave chase around the far bend but faded approaching the lane. BEAVER HAT took the turns in the three path while midpack, and faded turning for home. ENFORCEABLE laid off of the pace in the three path, but was through after five furlongs.
