Chart notes
CITADEL unhurried in the beginning, racing on the inside down the backside, angled out entering the final turn, took the lead at the head of the stretch and drove clear before the wire. UNCLE FRANK void of early speed, raced wide around the final turn, made an outside bid, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. EASY TO MISS lacked early speed, saved ground around the final turn, made a late bid and was outfinished for second. GETCHA raced within striking distance, made a bid, took the lead at the 34 pole and weakened down the lane. SMOKY TOPAZ dueled on the front end and was finished early. HAIL SOUTHERN challenged for the early lead, saved ground and dropped back.
