Chart notes
SUZYSELLSSEASHELLS stalked from the two and three paths, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and took the lead two deep approaching the quarter, drew clear midway on the far turn and was kept alert through the stretch. GOLDEN ACCOUNT stalked inside then took the over two deep into the backstretch, was caught toward the quarter, dropped back at the rail midway on the far turn and settled for second best. VICTORY ROYALE settled off the pace inside, bid leaving the three eighths pole, improved off the rail on the far turn but showed little in the lane. CRUZ IN THE CASTLE angled to the inside and rated the pace, was caught at the half mile pole, gave chase through the backstretch then faded into the far turn. MIDNIGHT FLING settled off the pace in the two and three paths then showed little response through the backstretch. WALKIT LIKE I TALK saved ground well off the pace, showed no response through the backstretch and was eased the final quarter. RACE WAS HAND-TIMED.
