Chart notes
KEEN MACHINE saved ground on the first turn, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole and rounded the far turn off the rail, was blocked toward the head of the lane but dug in at the rail to take over later yards. TAPPING SOUTH settled off the rail on the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole, slipped through at the rail leaving the far turn, raced clear past the eighth pole but was caught in later yards. SUNDAY SWAGGER settled off the rail on the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole and raced close in the three path of the far turn, was forced out into the stretch but dug in to take third the final strides. MOONLIGHT MISS rated the pace inside, came under pressure approaching the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail, drifted and was caught leaving the turn then flattened the final sixteenth. MY DREAM GIRL settled off the pace about the three path the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the five path of the far turn and finished evenly outside. LOVE CALIFORNIA rounded the first turn in the three and four paths, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole then flattened off the rail on the far turn.
