Chart notes
ROCKET BLAST raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, began to move up while racing three wide around the turn, and continued to gain ground down the stretch, getting up for the win in the final strides. C C'S WARRIOR chased the leader between horses through the opening quarter of a mile, navigated the turn from the two path, and gained ground between horses in tight quarters to the wire. WONDER IN dueled for the lead on the inside in the early going, took over while saving ground around the turn, and battled down the stretch gamely, giving way late. WOLFINBARGER tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, dueled from the rail down the lane and was outfinished late. G DADDY dueled on the outside early, pressed the pace headed into the turn, raced in the three path from there, continued to battle in upper stretch and weakened in the final strides. BLUEGRASS POSSE raced off the pace up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and flattened out in the stretch. HESASMOKIN hopped up leaving the gate, trailed the field up the backstretch, raced in the three path around the turn and was no factor.
