Chart notes
BOLD INTENTION showed good early speed to set all the pace and held gamely to be clear under strong pressure. STORMY GALE stalked the pace, raced four wide in the lane and got up for the place position late. LITTLE LILY LU was allowed to settle early on, moved up six wide through the upper stretch and made a good late bid. MISCHIEVOUS EFFORT pressed the pace from the outside and weakened the final eighth of a mile. SWEET LADY LANA was off slowly, raced in tight quarters near the three sixteenths pole, shifted in and had not enough in the drive. ARIZONA BREW settled off the early pace, raced five wide near the three sixteenths pole and had no late rally. PENNY'S ANNIE raced four wide through the upper stretch and never was a factor.
