Chart notes
BLACK BELT set the pace in the two path, drew clear near the quarter pole and held firm under a drive. DEMOCRACY tracked the pace inside, edged closer at the rail in the lane, angled out near the sixteenth pole and was unable to seriously gain on the winner. BROTHER BRAD pressed the pace outside of the winner and weakened in the final furlong. FROLIC MAN was in range four wide and tired in the drive. THE TWINS SNEAKERS failed to menace while racing three and four wide. TAPATERM trailed inside.
