Chart notes
SWEEPING EDGE void of early speed, raced outside around the turn, made a wide bid and drove clear. OFF SIXES vied for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match late for the winner, but held on for second. TOO MUCH BOURBON raced within contention, was close throughout, drifted out slightly down the home stretch and was outfinished for second. MISTAKE PRESENT pressed the pace, made a late bid, was squeezed back down the lane, getting in tight quarters and went evenly to the wire. SR. CLARKY vied for the early lead, saved ground around the turn and faded. CHOP CHOP CHARLIE raced near the back and never mounted a bid. LATE NITE MISCHIEF always raced near the back, saved ground around the turn and was outrun. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS CALLED INTO THE STRETCH RUN OF THE RACE. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
