ORDER OF THE DAY gained a clear lead in the first turn racing out from the rail, opened the advantage through the second turn while making his own pace and held the margin under steady handling. BENTLEY tracked the early pace inside, moved out to stalk three wide and could not close the gap. CODE CLEAR moved up three and four wide to within striking distance into the far turn but lacked the needed late effort. BRO CODE moved inside going up the backstretch but lacked a final closing run. YOUWONDERWHYIDRINK saved ground and weakened. BOLD IMPACT followed the pace three wide and weakened. DADDY JACK was always back three and four wide.
