Chart notes
UNCAPTURED SPIRIT sped to the early lead, was steered to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, remained along the rail, was challenged by HARD TO BE HUMBLE in mid stretch, dueled with that one then drove clear late. HARD TO BE HUMBLE broke alertly, was taken to the two path approaching the turn, stalked the pace, engaged the winner in mid stretch, dueled to deep stretch then hung. WOW WHATA SUMMER , off last, was angled in early, saved ground around the turn, swung outside in mid stretch and rallied. PRINCE PERE , three wide stalking the pace around the turn, had aim on the lead in mid stretch and weakened in drive. KOBE TOUGH , bumped and in tight quarters leaving the starting gate, raced inside horses on the turn, bumped with AFTER FIVE in upper stretch then finished willingly inside horses. HOLIDAY HOUSE lacked speed, raced inside horses and failed to rally. BILLINGSGATE hugged the inner rail on the turn and weakened. TENAX , steadied in traffic near the five eighths pole, raced very wide into the stretch. TOPS THE CHART lacked speed, raced between horses into the stretch and failed to be a factor. AFTER FIVE , no factor, raced wide into the stretch and bumped with KOBE TOUGH in upper stretch. MAGIC MULE was outrun. SUNDAY MISCHIEF , kept wide on the turn, retreated through the stretch.
