CONSUMER SPENDING was taken back nearing the first turn then tucked into the two path, moved out while reserved near the rear down the backstretch, went three wide early on the far turn, shifted five wide while roused near the five-sixteenths, rallied outside to make a bid into upper stretch, brushed with the runner-up inside the three-sixteenths, gained the lead inside the furlong marker, fought outside the runner-up to the wire and prevailed under strong urging. PIZZA BIANCA was taken in hand early, traveled around the first turn in the three path, was rated outside while given some cover down the backstretch, tipped out near the half-mile pole, stalked in the four path around the far turn, was given her cue at the five-sixteenths then roused for more at the quarter-pole, took a short lead into upper stretch, brushed with the winner inside the three-sixteenths, lost the advantage to that foe inside the furlong marker, fought on to the wire but missed while clear for the place. SAIL BY bumped with a foe at the start, contested the early lead while three to four wide around the opening bend, moved clear late on that turn showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the far turn, lost the advantage to the runner-up into upper stretch and weakened but held the show. MISS YOU ELLA was rated on the inside, came under urging around the five-sixteenths then moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, was put to a drive in upper stretch and came up empty. ALITTLELOVEANDLUCK bumped with a rival at the start, raced inside to the two path around the first turn, stalked outside down the backstretch, turned up the pressure in the three path around the final turn, was asked at the quarter-pole, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. ON ALERT was hustled from the start but dropped back early, saved ground around the first turn, moved out early on the backstretch, was reserved at the rear, dropped from the four path to the two path while put to urging around the final turn and failed to respond.
