OFFICIAL BUSINESS pressed the pace early on two wide, was in the three path into the lane, took over and inched clear in the stretch under a long drive and kept foe at bay in the final stages. JOHN'S PROTEGE hopped at the start, stalked the early duo, was in the four path into the lane, made a bid down the lane but was kept at bay in the final stages. HOMETOWN HERO chased the pace early on, was in the five path entering the lane and flattened out late in the stretch run. TAFFIN broke very slow at the break and trailed the field early on, was in the two path into the lane, rallied down the lane and was gaining in the late stages. ROBUST was never a threat. WIND AT MY BACK set the pace early from the rail, stayed on the inside into the lane and gave way down the lane. R YOU AWAKE was through after a half.
