Chart notes

DIXIE GIANT was bumped at the start, stalked the early pace from between horses early, made a four wide move by the quarter pole, then had a long drive and got up late to prove best under a drive. SOUPER RIVER vied for the early lead three wide, made a three wide bid by the quarter pole to gain a short advantage and then dug in gamely in the stretch but was outfinished late to just miss. SAILOR'S PASSION was rated along the inside early, then shifted off the inside on the turn looking for racing room, came three wide into the lane and was blocked in traffic by the three sixteenths, angled in for racing room and rallied. BROWNING ISLAND vied for the lead on the inside and kept on but faded late. ORPHAN HALLIE vied for the lead in between rivals, weakened leaving the turn, angled out at the sixteenths pole. INFAMOUS COVERT was rated three wide early, then was four wide on the turn and came up empty.
