Chart notes
SO RED THE ROSE rounded the first turn in the three path, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole and drew to even terms three wide midway on the far turn, then dug in determinedly to turn back the game effort of TALKTHETALK, who became a bit edgy in the gate then rated close off the rail, bid past the three eighths pole and took a slim brief lead between horses nearing the quarter pole, was met midway on the far turn and dug in gamely to late stretch before ceding; reluctantly. DEVILISH BEAUTY broke awkwardly then saved ground, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced two deep on the far turn and finished well. REIGNING FIRE settled off the pace about the three path the opening turn, eased out into the backstretch and bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, angled to the five path toward the eighth pole and ran evenly in the lane. DINNER AT FIVE was hustled up toward the three quarter pole and angled to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure past the seven sixteenths pole, was caught at the rail approaching the quarter pole and weakened on the turn. MARY'S JEWEL rated just off the early pace inside, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole then faded at the rail on the far turn.
