START CASHIN was well rated early, advanced three wide on the turn, made a four wide bid leaving the turn, then had a long drive in the furlong grounds and prevailed gamely under a drive. TORAZO was rated along early, advanced four wide on the turn, made a five wide bid leaving the turn and had a long drive with the winner but just missed. CHAMPERS tracked the early pace and made a three wide bid to shake clear leaving the turn, but faded late. PECOS BILL was allowed to settle early towards the inside, then advanced three wide by the quarter pole, offered a belated rally but needed more. PASSCODE set the pace on the inside and was headed nearing the five sixteenths pole and weakened. GET A VALENTINE was settled three wide early and lacked a rally. AULD LANGE SYNE failed to menace.
