Chart notes
QUARTER RAT dueled for the lead between horses up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn, kicked clear entering the stretch and held his margin to the wire. PROUD CIVILIAN swerved out sharply leaving the gate, trailed the field up the backstretch, began to move up while saving ground around the turn, and continued to gain in late stretch to get second. RAMMER JAMMER dueled on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, chased the winner home, and got caught for second in the final jump. RICKY BOBBY raced off the pace on the inside in the early going, navigated the turn from the three and four path, swung wider still entering the stretch and finished mildly. PACIFICISLANDTIME raced in the middle of the pack on the outside in the early going, navigated the turn from the three path and was empty in the stretch. BIG SESSY pressed the pace on the outside in the opening stages, dropped back to chase the leaders from the two path around the turn and tired from there.
