WISH UPON A STAR hopped up and brushed lightly with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, raced in the four path around the first turn, settled off the pace between horses for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two and three path, began a bid in midstretch and gained ground on the outside to get up late. SY MICHAEL chased the leader from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, moved up to challenge while racing around the far turn, dueled in upper stretch, brushing lightly with LEROY JENKINS near the eighth pole, and was caught late. LEROY JENKINS saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leader up the backstretch, moved up to duel from the three path around the far turn and into the stretch, brushed lightly with SY MICHAEL in midstretch and was outkicked from there. SCREWBALL led the field while saving ground around the first turn and up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the far turn and into the stretch and gave way with a furlong to, weakening to the wire. CHIEF CHARLIE fought his rider while racing in the three path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, swung wide entering the stretch and faded from there. PLEASANT VISION saved ground around the first turn, raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path, swung wide into the stretch and made no bid. MICHAEL'S BAD BOY raced in the two path around the first turn, trailed the field on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn and was empty in the stretch.
