Chart notes
CAIRO WARRIOR showed good early speed to set all the pace and held gamely to be clear under strong handling. AQUIMINE was unhurried early on, moved up along the rail and got up for the place position late. EXCELLENCY stalked the pace, raced three to four wide and had not enough for the top pair. SKYWAVE settled off the early pace, angled widest through the lane and moved up. HORN OF PLENTY settled off the early pace along the inside, raced two to three wide and had no final winning bid. LAB RAT dropped back early, raced along the inside in the lane and had no late rally. LIGHT CRUISER settled off the pace, raced five wide and had no response. FULL DINNER JACKET dropped back early, raced three wide and had no response. AMERICAN NIGHTMARE was up close from the outside in the early stages and tired while racing four wide. BRAHMS BOY failed to sustain a bid. COURAGEOUS TIMMY bore out around the far turn and never threatened.
