Chart notes
PIPES AND DRUMS saved ground around the first turn, trailed the field on the outside up the backstretch, swung wide to began a bid from the four path passing the three eighths pole, kicked clear entering the stretch and drew off while drifting out to the wire. FREEDOMFI raced in the three path around the turn, dueled on the outside up the backstretch, continued to battle from the three path around the far turn, could not go with the winner in the stretch and chased that rival home. CITY PARK raced in the two path around the first turn, came up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, began a bid from the three path racing around the turn and flattened out in the final furlong. FLYING HONEYPOT saved ground around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, swung out to the three and four path around the far turn and made a mild improvement of ground in late stretch while never threatening. NATE'S ATTACK fought his rider slightly while trying to race wide around the first turn, trailed the field on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the three path and made no bid. BOYFRIEND MATERIAL dueled for the lead from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to battle while saving ground around the far turn, gave way entering the stretch and tired down the lane.
