Chart notes
RVINDICATED was allowed to settle off the early pace, raced four wide in the drive and finished well to get up strong handling. AIR FORCE ANGEL showed good early speed along the inside, dug in but couldn't match strides with the winner late to finish second best. SMART BATTLE pressed the pace from the outside and weakened a bit in the drive. HARD CANDY stalked the pace, raced three to four wide and had not enough in the drive. MANOR BORN stalked the pace while racing near the inside and had no response. SEEKING SPLENDOR settled off the early going, raced five wide near the quarter pole and had no late rally. OPTIMAL TRIP was unhurried early on, raced four wide through the upper stretch and never was a factor. WIN IN THE CITY stalked the pace from the inside and tired. FLEET OF HOOF failed to sustain a bid. HEMPSTEAD was off slowly and never threatened. KING ARTHUR RIDGE dropped back early, raced five wide around the far turn turn and never was a factor.
