Chart notes
BERMONDSEY stalked the early pace and then went up to duel for command two wide by the half mile marker, made a bid on the turn and moved to the inside and drew clear, then drew off in the drive to prove much the best, ridden out. DOMINANT FACTOR was settled early three wide, advanced two wide on the far turn, tipped out three wide leaving the turn, finished willingly to be clearly second best. CITY GUY set the early pace on the inside, then dueled for command on the inside and weakened on the turn, held show award. SECOND LINE DAVID was allowed to settle early towards the inside, shifted outside and was four wide by the quarter pole, had no rally while just missing the show award. GOLD FELLOW failed to menace. LOVEDISC was well placed early and was three wide on the turn and stopped.
