Chart notes
MIDNIGHT MEMORIES stalked the top trio well off the rail, traveled four then three wide around the turn under asking, reached the front with a furlong remaining and drove clear. VALIANCY had early speed and vied three deep early, dueled outside a rival around the turn, led two wide into the stretch, overtaken by the winner at the eighth pole and stayed on to prove second best. SECRET FIX vied from inside up the backstretch, dueled with VALIANCY around the turn, lost touch with the top pair in upper stretch, weakened in the final furlong but was well clear for third. SIDE BY SIDE vied between foes for the lead early, dropped back around the turn and faded in the lane. PARCO broke a bit slow, raced in range early, lost ground around the turn and chased two wide into the stretch and weakened. LADY DERBY was off a bit slow and broke in, dropped back early, trailed two wide into the lane and was not a factor.
