Chart notes
LIMPERHOME contested the lead inside DIAMANTE JOSE while out from the rail, edged clear nearing the lane and held the margin under hand urging. BIG BEND BUCKAROO settled off the pace three wide, rallied through the far turn into the lane but could not close on the winner. SMILIN JOSIE saved ground while near the back early, angled out into the lane and moved up to gain the show late. BER MIS BOY stalked the pace along the inside to have aim nearing the lane but lacked a final closing run. DIAMANTE JOSE forced the pace outside the winner to the far turn and weakened. EL TOPECITO followed the pace three to four wide and weakened. P R CALL ME MAYBE broke in the air was trailed while wide.
