GO STORMIN GIRL chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, was forced to check hard at the three sixteenths pole when HELEN MAE'S SONG drifted into her lane, switched to the outside and closed gamely to get up for the win in the final jump. HELEN MAE'S SONG led the field between horses up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn, shifted in near the three sixteenths pole and dueled to the wire, getting caught late. FLYING BUSINESS raced outside through the opening quarter of a mile, began to improve position while racing in the three path around the turn and was outkicked in the stretch. HEY HEY settled in behind the leaders on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and gained ground mildly in the lane while never threatening. SHOWIT chased the leader in the early going, moved up to press the pace from the two path around the turn, dueled in upper stretch and weakened between horses in the final furlong.
