Chart notes
CHEF broke sharply to duel for the lead while racing three-wide, responded when challenged by THE PUBLIC HALO nearing the quarter and gamely held off the late bid of PARLEY STREET to prevail. PARLEY STREET was off a step slow, raced unhurried early, saved ground through the turn, remained inside for the drive, reached the winner nearing the sixteenth marker but could not get by that rival late. THE PUBLIC HALO was forwardly placed early, moved four-wide through the turn, offered a bid nearing the quarter and failed to sustain that rally. TAPIT AT MIDNIGHT was away in good order to dispute the pace with the winner while racing four-wide and gave way after going a half.
