Chart notes
BULLDOG OF BERGEN widest first turn, good position to far turn, three wide run to quarter pole, rallied, dueled in the final furlong to just get up in time in a good effort while well handled. FRED'S COUNTRY BOY chased leader to far turn, led into the stretch, stayed game from inside in a good effort . GO TIME had an inside trip while going evenly throughout with no late response when needed in the drive. GRAY HOPE no speed to far turn, came widest run into stretch with a bid past the eighth pole but outgamed for show. KENTUCKY COOL inside speed to the front but could not go on and gave way readily into far turn. WIND TWIST never menaced throughout despite saving ground. FATHER DENNIS always trailed from inside.
