Chart notes
DODROPIN was reserved just off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn, reached the fore with a furlong to run and edged away in the drive. KID CAT was off a step slow, raced unhurried early, moved four-wide through the turn, angled out further into the stretch and finished with good energy. WAR MAIDEN sprinted clear at once, raced three-wide while setting the pace, rider lost whip in mid-stretch and gave way late. TIZ TENACIOUS chased the leaders while racing four-wide and gave way through the final furlong. TRIPDOWNMEMORYLANE was forwardly placed early, moved five-wide through the turn and gradually gave way. RUN FOR BELLE lacked early foot, saved ground through the turn and did not menace. THE RIDER OF KID CAT LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST DODROPIN CONCERNING THE START AND AFTER REVIEWING THE FILMS THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
