Chart notes
DAME PLATA was positioned just off the pace three to four wide on the backstretch dropped in on the turn, slipped through on the rail, battled with SHANNON C and BEST OF GREELEY for a sixteenth and inched clear under a steady drive. SHANNON C set a pressured lead from five wide on the backstretch was headed at the end of the turn and fought off the outside challenge from BEST OF GREELEY in the stretch but couldn't keep stride with the inside challenge from DAME PLATA but proved second best. BEST OF GREELEY forced the pace from five to six wide on the backstretch then moved on the turn to challenge outside of SHANNON C and fought gamely for the last furlong. HAYDENS HAVOC vied for the lead from seven wide on the backstretch dropped in on the turn angled back out to five or six wide in the stretch drive and weakened. BOX SEAT chased the field from six to seven wide made a slight gain on the turn but lacked a late response in the stretch.
