Chart notes
SUNDAY GRACE pressed the pace three wide through the turn, was asked entering the lane then drew off under strong left-handed urging to inside the eighth pole then was geared down late while well clear. RUE DE BAC stumbled at the start, raced near the rail into the turn, came off the inside after mid-turn, entered the lane from the three or four path and moved up to be clear for the place spot while not a threat to the winner. GORMAN vied for the lead between rivals through the turn, led in late turn then weakened after straightening in the lane. BLEST LIFE was never a factor while in the two path through the turn. HILLSTONE MARTINI vied for the lead along the inside into late turn the faded. IRISH TAP never a factor while near the rail through the turn.
