Chart notes

BAVARIA was well rated along the inside, made a inside bid leaving the turn and vied for command by the furlong marker, then drifted out by the sixteenth pole and edged clear under a drive. LADDIE LIAM stalked the pace three wide and made a four wide bid when straightened and finished willingly but was outfinished. MR. WALSH broke in at the start, set a fast pace and was headed by the furlong marker and weakened in the final furlong. SPRING EMPEROR was bumped at the start, made a four wide middle move and tired.
