SURPRSINGLYPERFECT settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the second turn, reached the fore with a sixteenth to run and drew off with complete authority. FAMILY BIZ showed no early speed, raced three-wide through the second turn, angled in with a furlong to run, was no match for the winner but finished willingly to gain the place. AVALON KING was away in good order to set a pressured pace while racing three-wide and gave way through the final furlong. BEDROCK lacked early foot, raced five-wide through the second turn, angled in with a furlong to run and finished evenly late. PERFECT DUDE pressed the pace while racing five-wide and gave way in the drive. PERFECT WAGER was void of early foot, raced five-wide through the second turn and failed to rally. MARICOPA COUNTY raced off the leaders from the inside and gradually weakened. GO FOR A RIDE pressed the pace while racing three-wide and weakened after going five furlongs.
