BIG UNION broke sharply and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the backstretch, set a pressured pace in the run down the backside and through the final turn, but faded in the stretch drive. HE'S RELENTLESS was pinched at the start, and settled off the contested early pace while saving ground at the inside, rallied smartly from along the inside entering the final turn, tipped three wide entering the lane, and closed willingly in a game effort. FINDING WAYS away well and dueled for the lead from between rivals in the run down the backstretch, was unable to match strides with his pace rivals entering the final turn, and had little to offer over the final furlong. ERLICH settled off the early pace while racing one out from the rail in the run down the backstretch, rallied three wide entering the final turn, but lacked the needed closing response when called upon. MCMURPHY away alertly and pressed the pace three wide in the run down the backstretch, continued to force the issue two wide through the final turn and into the lane, but faded in the drive. COULTERBERRY unhurried early while dropping back to trail, rallied five wide entering the final turn, and found his best stride late while unable to threaten. SMART LAD settled off the early contested pace while racing two out from the rail in the run down the backstretch, rallied smartly three wide through the final turn, was fanned five wide entering the lane, but closed determinedly three out from the rail in the drive to prove best. SLEW'S DA BOSS settled off the early pace while racing two out from the rail in the run down the backstretch, rallied smartly four wide through the final turn, and finished willingly five wide in the drive to garner a share in a game effort.
