CARROTS OR CARATS ducked inwards just after the start bumping the eventual winner, angled inwards to press the pace outside a rival on the backstretch, continued to dispute the issue inside the eventual winner past midstretch but proved only second best. MANUKA BOBBY angled to the inside tracking off the first flight racing to the turn, shifted out four wide entering the stretch and continued with an effort to prevail for a share. THE EQUINEST was rated off the second flight between foes and continued evenly three wide into the lane. MIDNIGHT TRICK, bumped soundly at the start, settled well off the leaders, angled inside on the turn, then tipped out in upper stretch to improve position between foes to the end. NOT A DANCE settled along the rail in early stages, saved ground to upper stretch but offered no rally. JAQUE MATE COCO settled outside foes in early stages and proved no threat. RUNAWAY TOM ducked out at the start crossing over the path of PAYNTER FEVER, was righted, then urged disputing the pace along the rail into the turn and gave way after a half. SEND D PACKAGE tracked the leaders four wide in second flight racing to the turn and gave way early. PAYNTER FEVER broke slowly, then was cut off at the start and trailed the field to the stretch. PORT EVE broke inwards bumping CARROTS OR CARATS, swerved out bumping MIDNIGHT TRICK soundly and dropped out early.
