MISS LESLIE stalked close up three wide, bid three wide on the far turn, rallied to a short lead outside of FLIGHT TO SHANGHAI, responded when roused and pulled away under urging. MORAZ raced off the pace inside, then between rivals, came four wide into the lane, closed well and rallied for second. FLIGHT TO SHANGHAI set the pace on the inside, was pressured on the backside, dueled on the far turn, battled with the winner entering the stretch, dug in along the rail and held on well for the show spot. LEADER OF THE BAND was off slowly, raced off the pace inside, came two wide into the lane, angled out and closed mildly for a share. OLIVIAOFTHEDESERT had a three wide trip, went four wide on the far turn and gained mildly outside. MOMA TIGER stalked close up two wide, bid between rivals on the far turn, came three wide into the lane and tired. CAFE SOCIETY dwelt at the start, recovered, then pulled between rivals on the first turn, settled two wide off the pace, came three wide into the lane and tired. STAND FOR THE FLAG tracked close up on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and faded. MISTY TASTE raced four wide on the first turn, continued three or four wide and gave way on the far turn.
